Katrina Kaif is taking a little too much interest in the making of her next film, Kabir Khan's 'Phantom', which is currently being filmed in London. And this led to a panic situation on the sets a couple of days ago.
Mirror has learnt that the actress refused to wear costumes designed by the film's stylist, Subarna Ray Chaudhri. She felt they wouldn't do "justice to the scene". This came as a surprise to the unit as such a situation had never cropped up before. Undoubtedly, there was a problem and Kat came up with a solution herself.

Not so long time ago, we told you how Katrina Kaif shelled out over Rs 1 crore for her gowns in Bang Bang, as she didn’t like the outfits sourced by the film’s designer. Now we hear that, while shooting for Kabir Khan’s Phantom in London, a similar incident occurred. Reportedly, Katrina again refused to wear the outfits designed by the film’s stylist, Subarna Ray Chaudhri. She felt that those costumes wouldn’t do ‘justice’ to the scenes. What happened next, you ask? She went off to Oxford street to shop for outfits that’d do ‘justice’ to the sequences.
A source was quoted by a daily, “Her director friend, Ali Abbas Zaffar, is keeping her company in London although he isn’t involved with the film. Together they went off to Oxford Street to shop for costumes which were a better fit for particular scenes.”
Apparently, Subarna Ray Chaudhri wasn’t bothered by Katrina’s tantrums. However, Kat denies the episode altogether. She told a daily, “No, this is not true. Subarna has done the looks for the film and I’m very happy with them.”
Well, the Bang Bang actor seems to be focusing too much on her onscreen appearances. We wish she’d concentrate as much on her acting too. Sigh! Also, we wonder why she isn’t so careful about
